The physical accommodation, service, and quality of food were excellent. The Riad was in a avoid location convenient for exploring the medina and the Kasbah. Our hosts were helpful, beyond the call of duty. The food that they provided was delicious. We had dinner twice at the riad are were very pleased. My only suggestion is to ask the cost beforehand, which we did not. Finally, the experience in Dar Karina was what we thought a Riad experience should be: friendly and personal.

My stay was warm here. Everything was wonderful, beautiful hotel, the location was fantastic just off the medina, the markets of the medina and Salé. The breakfasts were reasonably good with authentic Moroccan food and cookies, for instance, couldn’t ask for anything better. Location in the centre of the city was a plus.

Great location near souks and beach, spacious room for our family, amazing breakfast spread in beautiful decor, and friendly staff. We were able to park about 150m away from the hotel and easily walk around this desirable neighborhood. Transportation was not a problem.

Riad Dar Karima made my travel to Marroc unforgettable! In a good location, it is a very comfortable and beatiful place to stay, relax and know in its best form the famous Moroccan hospitality. Mr. Salah, his wife Nadia and the helpful Marian made my stay one of the best travels in my life. The delicious breakfast, mint tea and patisseries prepared there where special. Any information I needed, they were ready to explain or the get it. They made me feel as if I was an old friend of them, inviting me to dinner with them, commemorating Salah's birthday and celebrating the "Fette du Mouton", an important religious celebration, with their family. A real privilege! They receive their guests with affection and tenderness.
Nothing to say, everything was perfect!

This is a beautiful and charming riyad just inside the medina. The staff and owners are so incredibly kind. They prepared a large traditional dinner for our whole family. Breakfast was also freshly prepared for us and absolutely delicious. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Everything has been completely restored within the past year, so it is in good working condition and very beautiful. The stairs are not as steep as in some other riyads so it was much safer for our young children. In all, it is a great place for and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The owners have converted a nice old house into a heaven of peace. The riad is situated at the periphery of the Medina, with only 10-15 minutes walk to the Kasbah and Andalusian gardens, Atlantic, and souks. It combines traditional Moroccan features with stylish and modern design. The king-size bed is soft and the bathroom/shower huge. Breakfast is rich and includes European and Moroccan omelettes, liquid honey, baguettes, jam, butter, cheese, raisins, nuts, dates, fresh orange juice, and a very good coffee or tea. However, what makes this guest house a jewel in Rabat are its owners, a wonderful couple who try to make you feel like home from home. I was welcomed, and given a farewell, with mint tea and luxurious bisquits. Moreover, I was invited to join the couple for dinner, with the best Hariri soup I tasted in Morocco. We chatted for hours and laughed to tears. I was prompted to excavate my French of 35 years ago, but it turned out that the owners understand English very well and are keen to learn more. This is a most friendly place, full of heart and soul.
Nothing, really. 10 out of 10.

Christmas Getaway: Authentic Moroccan Experience in an Ideal Location. The warm welcome we received upon arrival was just the start of a fantastic stay. The two sisters who managed the place were amazing and made us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was delightful, filling us up for the day ahead. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main attractions and eateries nearby. Plus, the traditional decor added to the overall charm of the place.
Despite the overall positive experience, our room lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a lingering damp smell. Although we only stayed for a few nights, it would have been better if we had requested a room change.

We had a wonderful romantic escape in Rabat. the hotel had two complementary facts that we enjoyed, and the location was really close to the main road. the breakfast was delicious and made us feel welcome in the city.
The lack of drinking water. Most of the hotels or riads we stayed in offered free drinking bottles, but not here.
